About Gold-Filled
It is a layered metal of jeweler's brass with a layer of gold on the surface that is bonded in place with heat and pressure. The gold alloy must make up 5% of the total product weight. Gold-filled is much more affordable than solid gold. It is more durable than plated metals because the gold content is significantly thicker.
