“There’s a way to do it better – find it.”  - Thomas Edison.  A Better Way to finish your Sterling Silver Footage Chain is with our S713 – End Clasp with a 4mm Inside Diameter Tube.  Hold your end clasp tube using a Third-Hand, protecting the ring with the Steel Tweezers.  Flux, then drop a piece of solder into the tube (be sure it hits the bottom).  Heat with a torch until the solder melts, but before it flows.  Drop in one end of your chain until it’s at the bottom touching the solder.  Heat the end clasp again until the solder flows.
