Set your cabochon stones or make jewelry with resin, paper, polymer clay, mini mosaics, dried flowers, or other found object inserts with our handy line of bezel blank pendants. Sterling silver for a high quality finished pendant or charm created with your handmade special touch.
To start making resin jewelry, select a quality resin product and your objects to suspend in the bezel pendant. Each type of resin products has specific instructions on mixing, application, and curing. Keep in mind that temperature, humidity, and other ambient variables may affect resin curing. It takes some practice to get it right. But, once you learn how to start making resin jewelry, you won't be able to stop! It is the perfect technique for making highly custom jewelry personalized to the wearer.
To use ready-made settings for cabochons, place your stone over the setting and push down firmly. Once the cabochon is in the setting, use a bezel roller and rock it gently around the setting working in a star pattern until the bezel wall is pushed against the stone. Next, use a burnisher to smooth out the wire and tightly secure the cabochon in place. To protect your stones from scratches caused by the tools place two layers of painter’s tape over the stone during the setting process.
